Everytime I pick a watch and set it in the morning I set it to my phone by the second.
I think it would be nice to set it to another timepiece instead, it would feel more like a ritual. However it must be one that keeps time perfect and is a good looking piece of furniture for the home.
Do you have any suggestions on good looking table clocks that have radio synch for time or similar?
Preferably retro/vintage looking but open for ideas.

The Atomic Clock 😂😂🤔

I guess the question is how many tables do you have to stuff into a room to pull that clock off? 🤣

And the garage has always been the one place where we ceep your hobby. 🤔 good luck.
All my suggestion would lead you to German Websites but try "mantel clock atomic" on Amazon. That might do the trick.

Here I go putting myself out on a limb. How about some steampunk? fun but unfortunately not atomic. You can switch to swedish on this page though:

This one sort of remids me of your Lip watch, but only sort of. Maybe a little too dull. But it's atomic driven:

Coming to thick of it, maybe you do want to look on Amazon. 😁
Good luck with your search.

Oh thank you this site has a lot of stuff!
Nice idea.
Don't have a clock but I mostly use one of my two most accurate quartz watches.
I enjoy the fact they use different technologies to achieve accuracy - the G-Shock has radio sync every night, the Tissot uses thermocompensation and drifts a max of 5 seconds between daylight saving time switchover dates.
If you're willing to forgo the accuracy requirement then there are things like my own favourite clock:
My table clock is my 30 year old Bose Clock radio
If your not fussed about accuracy then Dent make a fantastic looking thing. Its a rolling ball clock where the ball bearing takes 30ish seconds to roll down before its flipped and rolls the other way. JLC Amos clock is very cool as well.
I am considering buying a pre-owned Limited Edition Hodinkee travel clock, hopefully for a tad below $ 6000. That would make a lovely table clock to set the time from, as well as a great conversation starter 😉
Junghans Mega table clock. They're usually $50-100 on eBay.

Exactly that piece is our ”HiFi” in our summer cottage. Amazing sound👍
Not Atomic accurate, but an old Elgin aircraft cockpit clock on my table.
Not a table clock, but i use a Junghans Max Bill Solar as a reference watch ( it syncs to the Greenwich atomic clock signals) - I’ve not looked, but they probably do a similar table or wall clock?

Really cool. Would be a given if it was radio synched

Oo, I saw a few nice ones after googling those, thanks!

I thought about something like this too, in the watch box however I thought a nice piece of horological furniture would be a cool way to set your watch with

Someone will likely come up with a way to install a synched movement into one of these old pieces - restomod of sorts, right?
A reliable quartz watch can do. My Columbia CL-1312 with a VJ-32 quartz movement is currently keeping time at -1sec / 60 days. If you find a Japanese quartz clock with such similar accuracy then you're good to go.

Could work if its very reliable. I want it majorly for setting my watches to it 👍

Yeah maybe you can just buy the parts and keep the dial?
