Adventure with your watch 🌏
Hello watchcrunch, long time no see. its been one week since i open this forum freely. reason is i got a chance to have a holiday to sumba island (indonesia) with my family. and let me share some experience about my trip with my orient kamasu.
first of all the island is on east nusa tenggara province. it is not well develop yet, most of the road consist of limestone gravel, not much of roadside lamp post, not much cellphone signal, and oh God the weather is so hot there temperature are from 30-40' celcius but they have a beautiful landscape, beach, hill, and waterfall which i dont see often, also there are many horses, buffalo and a goat everywhere.
i decided to bring my orient kamasu to accompany me, since it has a steel bracelet which come handy if your wrist sweat so much and 200m water resistant to accomodate some water activity. here are some of my wrist shot with some of the destination which i visited there:
- weekuri lagoon
a beautiful lagoon located at west part of the island, you can also swim there.
2. warinding hill
an interesting hill with a beautiful topography
3. waimarang waterfall
a beautiful hidden waterfall, to reach this waterfall you must take a hike for a few kilometres. i take my orient to swim there and got no problem with it
4. tanggedu river
a beautiful river and waterfall with interesting rock formation
5. tanarara hill
also a beautiful hill with interesting topography, its more beautiful than warinding hill that i mention before. mostly tourist just want to appreciate and take a picture in it, you can also explore a little bit here
there are many interesting tourist object but i think i'll stop here😃. here are bonus pict for you guys (forgive my stupid face)
in conclusion im very happy with my watch performance, i can take it to swim or hike without a trouble. indices lume are also usefull considered there arent many lamp post there. the only thing that annoyed me are the screw from the end link (miltat/ strapcode) tend to loose bit by bit everytime i wore the watch. so did you wear a watch for your adventure? and whats your go to watch to accompany your trip? lets share some of your shot with your adventure. thx for reading and ciao

if it survive from predator im sure the arnie will take any of the beating from this world juat fine😂. i would love to see your boldr or the arnie on action someday

😂😂. think is i want to wear my g shock at first but ended up wear my orient i dont know why, i guess it was nicer to take a wristshot with it. thats a beaufitul alpinist, next trip i'll wear my srpg for sure 👍

Yes those shots were taken on Guam. I live here but it’s still fun to act like a tourist and take in the sites😎

sometimes i just dont want to baby my other watches so if i'm doing something like you did i'll have my gshock in my bag as a spare, and put it on if i'm climbing or skateboarding or something that might scratch my watches up.
