Time; Defined & Undefined
Today, I decided to roughly define how long I was actively using WatchCrunch. Good thing I have a way to define & quantify the addiction.
Every time I peeked at the WRUW or reacted to posts or replied to comments, I started the ol' chronograph.
Ended up being about an hour throughout the day. You all are a great lot to spend some virtual time with.
That hour was less than I thought I would, and more than I probably should. I know there have been days I've been here a lot more and days where all I did was post a WRUW.
So how much time do you think you spend here on WatchCrunch during a typical or average day?

At times depends…if the topics and threads are 🔥 and funny interesting conversations arise then I’m glued reading for more funny things and turning topics I can make fun off 🤫😂😉… since im a typical loner and admiring my “precious” most times I’m glued to this site…

Having the downtime over the last year with this medical I must admit, I've put in some time here!! 18 badges and a list of watches later I can't start my day without @Catskinner getting that perfect shot whilst jammin the morning joe!!

I am brother, thank you!! It's a slow process and I'm finding acceptance can be a much harder thing to overcome then injury itself, that's where I'm at now. Hard to go from a mountain bike to a cane without some midlife crisis. It's pretty much why i got back into watches and modded during the pandemic.

Because I'm finding it less interesting and more Instagram and YouTube like since new year.
I feel ashamed but I think I'm here for nearly two hours a day, maybe three. I used to spend a lot of time on another watch forum but it was way less friendly and good vibes than here, i just transposed that timeslot of my daily routine from one site to another. And I don't regret it at all !

This makes me happy. I also was on another site that was decidedly less friendly than here and so glad I am here. This place even pulls me away from Twitter.
It's a nice way to star or unwind the day. My wife doesn't get it.
I tell my wife I’m chatting online with my ‘watch friends. She’s mostly ok with that. I think there’s so many great quality people on this site.🙂🤝🫶
Hard to answer time per day… some days I go bonkers with rabbit holes, hilarious posts, and photo shoots .. so around 2 hours?. Some days it’s zero time if I’m busy or working crazy hours. I’ll bet I average ~40 minutes? Huge variance though. I like it much better than virtually every other social app (even though it’s not an an app 😂). I’m pretty much done with FB, Twitter and similar.
Glad it’s still free here on the Crunch. Wonder when the shoe will drop and we all have to pay in some way. Badly done monetizing would curb my unhealthy love to hang out here.
