Love & Lust

I've been mulling over what it means to love watches for a while now and this week seemed as good a time as any to post some thoughts on the subject of love and how it relates to watches.

Hop on over to Unholiest Watches to read them.

Interesting reflection on the topic, well thought out.

Oohh that's a deep dive into human emotions. I would argue that most of the time we experience an emotional reaction closer to lust than love. We desire it. We Need it. I believe the love part comes later. Or it may not come at all.

We tend to have the same thing happen when we first meet people. Their is either lust or not. The love aspect, if there will be one, only comes later. As you said, with an action.

Ok!

Back when I’ve got a comment!

... I'm back! I love my various watches, but it's far from equal. The hotties suck up all the quality wrist time, as you alluded to.

This is typically since I love to gaze at them and/or they have some redeeming feature that makes them awesome. Can even be just the design and shape.
