I have a Lorier Falcon search saved on eBay & received this email with a Buy It Now price $100 (20%) lower than RRP & what the SIII starting bids are at.
I almost clicked that accursed button before realizing this was a SII & not an SIII.
Do you have an 'almost' or 'too quick on the trigger' watch story?

Put a bid in for my more mere mortal sized Warhammer40K watch, the "Gaudy Guardsman" if you will...
Shot out a stupid low offer, fully expecting the seller to balk.
And to my surprise they excepted it, it's not too bad, but the #custodesspecial is better. YMMV.
I don’t eBay . Like everything, it works better in the US. From Canada eBay, there’s seldom if ever what you want here.
I think if I was US based I’d have 100s more watches. And could buy or sell so easily.
With our peso like currency, Norway like income and sales taxes, and duty/customs fees that can exceed the cost of the watch you are ordering, I usually check the numbers, shed a tear 😢, and don’t order.
It happened to me with the Hyperion, luckily someone outbid me
Fwiw I owned the 2 and the 4 and neither were bad! 2 is def chunkier though.

There's a 4? Thought the 3 was the latest Falcon?

Oh! Sorry I'm talking about the Neptune, my mistake very tired. 😜

FACTS!!! 💯
Most of the watches I’ve bought on eBay were because I bid and them no one outbid me which I think is just really rude 😂

Ah, The Memento Mori watch!

@bytemonkey I'm still dying 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
The watch Angels had his back that day. He almost bought this LMAO 😆😆😆😆
I’ve seen used Falcons being listed for the same price as a new one…that doesn’t make sense to me. 🤣

They are out of stock so, supply and demand I guess 🤷♂️
Yeah seems awfully cheap
I actually do.
First off, I have a 7.5” wrist, but I like the way a few smaller watches fit on me so I started looking for a used 35mm PRX. Found one on eBay. Won the auction for under $200. Sure enough when it showed it was 40mm.
I tried it on and I wasn’t even mad. It looks great on me. The seller seemed like a young kid who just didn’t know better (we messaged about it, and I deduced his age by some of the other items he was selling).
I think I may be better off too, 35 is pretty small for me.

It really is an atrocious watch.

Yeah, no new ones means used will go for more
I actually do.

I also have a 7.5" wrist, but the 36mm Falcon will fit nicely. I already have a 36mm watch, so not even worried.

I don’t think you’re wrong about the Lorier, I almost bought one of those several times.
I’ve ended up with 2 of the exact same watches, on multiple occasions, because my “super low bid” actually won and I forgot I was bidding on it…fast forward 6-9 days later and find another and do a “Buy It Now” like an idiot.
I actually do.

Is that the actual watch pic? That’s not the 40 (waffle dial)
I take months to convince myself to purchase yet another expensive useless accessory I don't need so I only have the "too slow" kind of story. 😂

It’s the quartz 40, not the powermatic.
Great job Jedi

Hehe that might also be what a Chaos worshipper would wear.... Hmmm 🤔 might have to tell the Inquisitor about this
