The Purple Pilgrim Pilgrimage Stewardship
Recently I got a very unexpected message from Ryan @ralland about his Purple Pilgrim Mathy-Tissot Sunray. Ryan, who held stewardship over the Purple Pilgrim since receiving it from Eric @StNobody, wanted it to continue its pilgrimage throughout the community and he generously offered to send it my way. I felt very honored to become the recipient of such a gesture and be a part of the watch's journey. The Purple Pilgrim arrived and I was blown away at how nice looking and well finished this watch is. I intended on adjusting the bracelet to fit my skinny wrist, but I don’t have a proper pin/collar tool, so I took the bracelet off thinking I'd just try it on a strap to see how it looked on wrist. So I threaded my ZuluAlpha WOE strap and tried it on. I wasn't sure at first with the combination of nylon and a polished bezel, but now I’m thinking it looks pretty organic with the purple and green. A little like a purple tulip or something. For some reason I think the green and purple just fits. Now that I think about it, Ryan had previously posted a shot of the watch with his Benchmade 940 in the background, which has a green anodized handle and a purple backspacer, so yeah, green and purple work.
I’m excited to take it to some cool places during its stay here in Utah. Many thanks to Eric and Ryan!!

Wow. I never thought I would like a purple dial, but that looks pretty cool. How do I get on the Pilgrim list? It would be short shipping to Colorado.

I had a an #amwg Mathey Tissot 369 (mk2-fautina) it was a very well made watch and I adored it, I gave it to my uncle to enjoy (because it’s such a great watch not because I wanted rid of it) hope you enjoy that watch it looks great

They are legit, I'm in the smaller end too, and I still like them.
Will definitely order the shorter size when released, and trade off the longer size.
