This is the 9F model, right? Definitely a grail of mine. One I might consider as a grad gift when I fully transition careers here in a couple years...
Thanks! ๐ Yes that's SBGX065, an older 9f model which you can find for around 1200 usd (I got a great deal in Taiwan for 800), so it's an awesome piece that doesn't break a bank! ๐

Ah. Mazing!
Thanks for that heads up! I'll have to look now. The technology in this movement absolutely boggles my mind!
I have a Seiko SNXS77 (the poor mans version of your watch, some might say), and I wonder if that strap would work equally well on mine.
Thank you and I think it would work for sure! I got my strap from cheapest NATO, but if you want better quality, I'd wait until crown and buckle will have discounts (I got other color from them and it's much much higher quality)
Thanks for sharing, but now I need to go perlon shopping for my 18mm lug Sbgf027 after seeing yours! ๐
Haha sorry not sorry ๐, luckily perlons are pretty inexpensive, you can either go with cheap and ok-ish cheapest NATO straps, or go for better one from crown and buckle, eulit also has good quality (haven't seen them in discount tho).

Very nice. I imagine that blue dialed Grand Seiko could go with many straps. Beautiful watch.

Thank you ๐ it does but 19mm lugs are a bit annoying ๐ . Luckily if you don't look too closely, 20mm can be squeezed in pretty well ๐

Good to know, as Iโd like to add a Grand Seiko or an Aqua Terra to my collection, both 19mm

And it's quite sharp on that perlon too!

That's the great thing about perlon. You can shape it to fit. I put a 20mm strap on 22mm watch and there was no gap.
Much agreed.
Looks great! What strap is this?
