Longines Heritage Sector Dial

Still my absolutely favorite watch in the collection. And it pairs well with every strap I’ve thrown on it!

That band = fire

Thank you so much! It’s a new pickup from HasNoBounds. Really beautiful quality band.

I also have this model.

My favorites about this watch are :

  • The middle of the dial changes to a coffee/creme color as the light dims in the evening.

  • The shinier part of the dial will take the color of the ambient light .

It is a very elegant watch.

PS. Mine is not old and I will be return it for service soon. The rotor is noisy.

That's a very rich green, pairs perfectly with the dial 👌

I’m sorry to hear that the rotor on your watch has been problematic. Hopefully the servicing will get that fixed quickly. I agree with your points about the dial. There is a lot of depth to this fairly simple design

Thank you! The watch strap is from HasNoBounds and is their “Dollaro” leather strap.

I love it too.

The black dial is so sleek. If money wasn’t an option, I’d love to own the black dial as well. Unfortunately for me, I can’t justify having the same watch in two colors (at least for now! 🤣)

I’m excited to get my vintage one serviced.

I can see why, what a gorgeous watch

Having a look at the strap manufacturer later. Always looking for new straps.

Yeah I’m always interested in new straps. Just ordered a few which helps me hold off from buying yet another watch! Where is your strap from?

This is a strap monster. I was considering this and the Tuxedo Chronograph. Got the Tuxedo Chronograph but still looking at this one from time to time.

I was in the same boat as you: torn between this and the tuxedo. Ended up with this one because I found it to be just a bit more informal. In fact, I don’t really think of this as a dress watch. I wear it with casual outfits and I think it looks great!

A take on the Marine Nationale strap idea by a company called "Erika's Originals". Pricey, but so far the most comfortable one I used.

Single pass, rather thin and stretchy.

The leather 2-piece by Longines is nice and wears somewhat comfortable, but I have that issue during summer with the heat and the Marine Nationale was a better experience for me.

Snap - I've got one, it's a beauty; I'm enjoying seeing it on that green strap. I need to experiment with some alternatives.

Beautiful green
