Longines Heritage Classic Sector Dial

I lusted over this watch for well over a year. I think it is one of the most beautiful dials out there and the cleanest sector dial on the market.

I wondered if it might be a bit too formal to make for an every day watch, but that has not proven to a problem. I really enjoy the look and feel of this when worn on a mesh bracelet.

Awesome acquisition!

That watch caught my eye when looking at the Longines watches.  It is a truly beautiful dial.  I would wish you luck with it but it is a Longines so you know the watch is rock solid.

Congratz on your new watch addition! It looks awesome! 🍻

·

Looks amazing and really works with that mesh bracelet!

What did you end up going with for that because it's not always easy to find them in 19mm lug width?

·

Truly wonderful!!

·

IMHO it looks semi formal. What about a brown leather strap? to casualize it up, if you want casual. Nice watch

·

A truly Beautiful acquisition . I'd have that one in a heart beat.

·

Absolutely beautiful

I love this piece. I was eyeing it for some time and I still think the dial is stunning, and all bracelet options are providing far above the price point in comfort and quality.

Thank you! I agree that there is still some formality to it. I wear suits quite often, so this easily works as a dress watch. I'll have to pick up a brown leather strap at some point. I have a tan Delugs strap that looks gorgeous, but the summer weather is so humid where I live that I am waiting until fall to switch back over to leather.

Thanks Olivier! Yeah, bracelets in 19mm are frustratingly sparse. My selections were even more limited because I only wanted a metal bracelet that was also quick release (why every band/bracelets is not quick release in 2022 is puzzling to me!) I ended up ordering the Strap Code 19mm Mesh Quick Release. I absolutely love it! It's super easy to make quick adjustments with this one as well, which has come in handy during these summer months where I am either in extremely humid climates or freezing A/C!

Thank you so much!

I think this a watch that is hard to pull the trigger on. I hesitated for so long even though I found it to be one of my favorite watches on the market because I felt like I should maybe go with something more sporty. When I realized after a year that I still kept thinking about this one, I knew I had to get it. I agree, you have to see it in the metal. Congratulations on your Seamaster. That's one hell of a watch!

looks great on mesh, too

Congrats on the Omega. Another beautiful sector dial!

·

You could even put that on a nylon strap and it would look great.

·

That is a stunner...I didn't realize how good looking that one was. And that mesh bracelet:✨ Congrats Chad, it's  a beauty .

I really like that Longines and is one of my favourites for the nice symmetrical dial and value for money. Better with a strap in my opinion.

I agree with you on all of this! I think it looks gorgeous on a strap. I'm keeping it on bracelet until the summer humidity goes away. Then it's back to leather

You will enjoy it, I’m sure about it. To me is one of those pieces that I would keep always in my collection. Pity that I already have this type of ‘dress style’ covered by other pieces. Years ago that Longines would have been a no brainer.

At last, Longines is doing a nice strategy with pieces above Hamiltons, Seikos, Tissots, etc. at competitive prices. You should check their catalogue before buying an Omega for example.

First time I saw this watch I fell in love. 18 months later and I still love it. Pictures really don't do it justice. If I got one, it would be my daily. A dial that beautiful deserves to be seen everyday

·

This is in one of my shortlist. IMO the best looking sector dial in current production among brands.

·

Just an amazingly versatile piece
