Brother I absolutely agree! I like to hear why other people like what they do for the genuine insight, a contrarian opinion doesn't have to be defensive, and the people I've met on here have really been modern gentleman (or ladies!) and I think share the same value. A bit a humanity in an otherwise cold world hehe.

Thank you friend, I will say personally I've evolved maybe and become more...humble?.. no, Patient- than I used to be. Very surprisingly lol, that has allowed to enjoy watch culture so much more than I used to. I'm actually kind of mad at Casio because they've turned me into an addict twice in my life: as a child with Pokémon and as an adult with Casio and their subsidaries etc lol. Our Japanese friends knew!!lol

It's like when the GS warriors became champs and then everyone and their mothers bought the Steph Curry jersey. When I bought mine it wasn't like now where they're hard to get. I just went to the site and purchased super easy lol. Now an honest and quick review. I didn't like it at all when I got it and for the entirety of the first month, It just stayed right in its box. It's possible Casio made the conscious decision to put the absolute worst bracelet that they could bribe some poor indigenous folks to mine the earth for the ore just to turn it into the flimsiest stainless steel band maybe... ever? That said, one day( for some unexplainable reason) I caught the dial in the right light for the first time, and really noticed the microscopic crystallization process they used to induce such a deeply saturated and complex shade of Tiffany Blue that changes colors depending on your viewing angle, that I really started appreciating and it's become an everyday watch. It's cheap enough where I don't have to worry about banging it, I hate to admit it, but it's a watch that gathers the most comment from kind random folk. To be crystal clear, you are only paying for this DIAL. But if you know that beforehand and that's the mindset with which you purchase this watch, I think you're going to f****** like it lol. Also, no photo will give you an accurate representation of what it looks like on wrist. I'm just as frustrated about that fact. I would have liked the certainty before spending the money if that makes sense. But to summarize, I think I really agree with TGV from the Urban Gentry, where it has the same zeal (well maybe not the same) but it can generate interest in people to once again wear wrist watches instead of smart watches and from that point of view if it's getting iron on the wrist, it's a net positive for our community man.

It is a negative display but in my experience this helps declutter the dial A LOT. When in sunlight I'm looking for the hands only, and the negative display just disappears and returns to be easily visible indoors. Our Japanese friends knew! Lol

I don't mean to be a watch snob sir but we've got all the moonphases sitting at this table already. Sorry.

Also, yours is a bit ahead, according to yours there's no eclipse tomorrow.

Thank you brother! Ehh, this one a bit. I had replaced the sapphire crystal, the beginning of the integrated end links had a bit of rust (tho luckily it was dust-thick and a touch of polish with the Dremel cleared that, but you may still be to see it in the photo at the bottom) also the links. The. Gxx Dxxx LINKS. Lol. 4 we're missing, best took months to find anything similar and finally fitted it yesterday. Took a month mostly waiting on the Crystal, but for considerably less than 3 figures I'm soooo happy lol

Very self aware and astute insights there, friend. I feel I understand your hesitation. Im friends with a few S American guys through my indoor team that have stories about anything that could LOOK like a Rolex from across a block of traffic was at risk when at a light, or just being stopped in traffic with guns. 😳😬 The whole thing takes like 10s.

It's. CRAZY.

It seems we live in different times brother and the increased economic instability everywhere leads to the need to be extra smart, and aware when your wearing (think of carrying it with all the responsibilities you would if you were legally carrying your own firearm, ex.) Concealed, and not in public areas like schools near hospitals etc...

I empathize wholeheartedly and wish my outlook was more positive. That's a beautiful watch, I can't imagine how important it must be to you. All the best my man !!

Also, 1990 here. Cigar? Lol.
