Oops, I did it again!

This time around I have ventured far away from Pagani Design and opted for this stunning watch from Escapement Time. Only 38mm in diameter and features the Seiko VK64 Chronograph movement. All for under €150 all in.

I don't like the brand name, but it's a pretty script on a pretty dial, with pulsometer (missing from my collection) and proudly showing China on the face. And I like a single subdial chrono and 38 is good. I'd say that's a great buy!

I think it’s a very classy looking wench!! I mean watch 😂

I get what your saying about the brand name, it does look a bit "much", but I can forgive it that because of the rest of the aesthetics.

There are definitely parallels, dial colours, case shape etc

Heh. They're going after Furlan Marri, I see.

Congrats...great looking watch.

Reminds me of a Furry Murry 😉...only at a much lower price point and none of the false hype.

Escapement Time does a nice job on their watches. I picked this one up a couple of years ago for less than $100...excellent value-priced automatic flieger from ET (I mean come on...they all look the same anyway)...

Furlan Marri...This will set you back $1,250...and it runs a Seiko VK64...go figure...

Ah! I'm pretty sure you're getting something extra when you're throwing that sort of cash at a watch, and not just "history"!

It's a modern watch by a microbrand copying Patek Philippe design language. Slightly better materials and finishing, but not 10x worth of difference.

They became popular because they were hyped by all of the YT watch influencers and watch magazines, and were made in small runs creating "limited" supply.

At $350 they would have been properly priced, but someone had to pay for all the marketing costs to launch the brand.

Marketing costs = free watches for YouTube reviewers I'm guessing!
