Wearing your watches

Question to all the Crunchers….

Has joining the Watch Cruncher Community changed your watch wearing habits?

Has it encouraged you to change your watch daily ?

Yeah. I’ll change once a day sometimes.

Absolutely! It's also affecting my daily watch selection. Sometimes I'll tell myself, "well, I can't wear this one again. I wore it yesterday." Even though nobody really cares if you wore the same watch two days in a row. I'll still do it sometimes, but I will still have the thought. Or I will think that I can't wear the same watch too often in case it gets too redundant on my WRUW feed.

In reality, nobody cares how often you wear the same watch. It's only ourselves that make it a big deal.

It also affects buying decisions and frequency of purchasing new watches. But that's a different subject all together.

No, I dont care if I wear a watch 5 days in a row

·

Nope

Since joining a watch a community, I’ve become an enabler who will tell people to mortgage their house for a watch!

I totally agree with you especially with purchasing of watches 😬

·

Yep

·

Also changed my purchase habits...

·

Nah

·

I usually wear a different one anyways. Very rarely will I wear the same watch 2 or 3 days in a row. Even when it's new.

·

WRUW helps me realize which watches I’ve been wearing and which I’ve been forgetting…

·

Definitely try hard to rotate which watch I wear

·

I think It has to be honest. I’m sharing pics so there’s an effort in wearing more to post more

I was already changing watches mid day or daily or mid week before WC, though there are some weeks that I'm just sick to the same watch.

So not much difference there but it does change my perspective on several watch n watch related matters.

I love to hear well-thought-out, thought-provoking or experiences that are almost revelative, even though we know that they could be biased.

So yes, in that aspect, WC n fellow crunchers did change my watch wearing habits; like switching straps to find better-suited ones (I was pretty satisfied witha straps/bracelets the watches came with initially), double-wristing, twinning (even with the same watches), wearing my natos witha single pass instead of a double, winding my automatic minimally to avoid wear n tear, etc. 😁

I love how I can discover new things about our watches n how we wear them. Gain new appreciation or rediscover new/vintage pieces...

N mostly, being happy for fellow crunchers on their watches n discovering new found joy on watches we've never seen or heard before...

Which in certain ways, changed my mind about wanting to buy them too. 😁 😅

I’ve been wearing different watches every day for a long time now. Over a decade so that hasn’t changed.

Ive been on various watch forums for most of that time. I pretty much chose WC as my daily site over other social media and forum based sites.

·

Very much so! I switch watches more than ever before

·

I've just joined recently and changed my watch daily to have them all shown in WRUW. 😉But I often change my watch every day anyway, or depending on my mood and outfit. It's very rare that I wear a watch for more than three days at a time. Unless we're still in the honeymoon phase. 😉

·

Yes joining this nice community encouraged me to wear a different watch everyday.... actually buying some watches also...

·

Nice G shock! I mostly consider other taste and opinions. Rarley pull the trigger as my money is elsewhere but i like building perspective and some knowledge.
