You're spot on about the bracelet sizing. That's why I prefer the rubber strap so much. For me, on the rubber strap, it becomes my most comfortable watch to wear. 😁
I went with the Yacht-Master 40 blue dial for my first Rolex. I love it 🥰 but get why people don't like it. It's a "blingy" Rolex and doesn't have the tool watch appeal.
I was lurking around looking if anyone in NorCal is going to Wind Up in May and just saw this. 😭 Maybe next time...
I watched the video and his comparisons were superficial. He focused mainly on the finishing on the case, dial, and bracelet. No comparisons on the robustness of the bracelet and movements. I think his point was based on the finishing of said components, he expected more from Rolex... who isn't known for their finishing. But what was puzzling to me was he compared the finishing on a brand new San Martin to a two year old used Rolex. Doesn't the finishing diminish after two years of wear and tear? 🤔🤷♂️.
Yes you're right. The stainless steel Rolex Submariner and Daytona design went out of fashion like never. 😉
