It's hard to choose...

I have some money to spend (on watches of course). I hesitate between this two watche : a 1963 seagull 38mm (saphir) for 200€ on grey market or a aliexpress watch in bronze which I realy want to. this one is 40mm with a NH35 mouvement, for 150€. I have to choose because the offer on grey market doesn't say so long.

Easy! 😎

I'm one of the few bronze defenders around here, but I'd go with the Seagull.  Just a personal thing, but I'm not a fan of homage watches, plus I think the Seagull looks great.

Why not go Seagull if you're

going Chinese?

I just realise that the choice is between a bronze case or a nice mouvement (seagull).

I love dive watches, but if I was in your position I'd go for the seagull, got more personality, and I haven't like it in my box

Personally, I think the Tandorio is nothing special, but as a three-hander with a common movement, will probably function rather reliably. This is a real bronze case, and I think the price is reasonable.

The 1963 has some history behind it, and the ST19 is an interesting movement. That being said, mechanical chronos are delicate to begin with, and this is no exception. Without question this is the far more interesting watch, though.

Sea-Gull is the brand with the original good quality movement and there are a lot of copy cats over there. The chrono is actually more expensive to fix than replace. On the other one you get a Japanese movement which the Chinese didn't build and therefore better quality. The original Sea-Gull is worth a lot more than $200.00.
