A watch story
My father got this watch in 1975, the first year he announced the Battle of Flowers Band Festival in San Antonio. He was the announcer of that festival, which is a major event during Fiesta Week, until his death in 1990. Ever since then, I have been the announcer. It was his legacy to me. Tonight is festival night, and once again tonight, this watch will accompany me at the announcer's table as I hang out with 18,000 friends and enjoy the Spirit of Fiesta San Antonio.
