Tudor New Release Prediction

Hi guys, share your thoughts! What do you think Tudor will release during the 2022 watches and wonders? Comment down below! Unpopular opinion, I would love to see an upgraded movement and a clasp with micro adjustment on Tudor BB36.

I would like to see that horrific "snowflake" hour hand be retired.

·

Could see something interesting given the 10 year anniversary of the Black Bay.  The easy guess would be a red BB58. I bet we see a Coke BB GMT in 41 mm as I do not believe the GMT movement can be shrunk down to BB58 size.

Also, I think Tudor explores different color variations for the BB Chrono.

If interested, IDGuy had a really cool mock up of a BB58GMT with gilt dial and pepsi bezel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLYznpX9Sqc)...this design would be a mega hit.  Again, I just do not believe the GMT complication can be shrunk to the 58 size but would love to be wrong.

Just hoping for a Black Bay 58 GMT! I recently sold my regular Black Bay GMT in the hope that this rumor will come true! Let's hope it does! 😀

I don't really get the hate for the snowflake hands, wouldn't that make a Tudor look like just any other watch?

I feel like they could be streamlined/made better but I personally don't mind it at all :D

Smartwatch

(only kidding, but we all know it will be more variations of the Black Bay - shock horror)

·

I really hope Tudor does something big outside the Black Bay range, building on the momentum of the Pelagos FXD. Perhaps a non Black Bay chronograph, or simply equipping the Heritage Chronos with the new movement. I’d love to see a modern take on the Ranger in a 39mm size too.

·

Almost guaranteed to be something on Blackbay.  New Ranger is going to happen sometime in the next 1-3 years.

·

Get me a retrofittable stainless steel T-fit clasp for the BB58, and I’ll promptly ignore all other releases.

·

What I want: No more faux rivets on bracelets

What they'll probably announce: more watches with faux rivets

Since when do they get to call a sideways square a snowflake anyway? Always hated that.

·

I could see a green BB58 in steel.

·

I don't think the "upgraded movement and a clasp with micro adjustment on Tudor BB36," is an unpopular opinion (at least imo). It would bring the BB36 in-line with the Explorer.

I'd also love to see some crown guards on the BB58 line.

·

Tudor's instagram has been leaning heavily into the BB Ceramic of late.  It's either a tell or an attempt to throw us off and completely surprise us.

That said, a BB58 Ceramic would be very cool.

·

Titanium BB58 is actually a great prediction.  Something I have not even thought of yet and if Tudor replicates last year (BB58 in different metals), titanium would make sense and be awesome.

Rolex is all but guaranteed to come out with a Yachtmaster Titanium on rubber.  I wonder if Tudor does something similar with a BB58 Titanium on a new rubber strap? Or all Titanium bracelet?

I could see a movement update across the Black Bay range with the Master Chronometer. Would definitely make sense in competing with Omega.

Any thoughts on updates coming to the Pelagos?

The Tudor Instagram channel has been pushing Pelagos (and Chrono) content lately.

I’m close to pulling the trigger on a new Pelagos (black), but I’m debating if I should wait until after the new models are released?

With that said, I love design and feel of the current Pelagos as it is now - not sure that I’d want any additional changes.  I have the FXD and I do prefer the slimness of the FXD over the normal Pelagos, but not sure that Tudor would be reducing he case thickness.

How thin is the Pelagos FXD compared to the regular Pelagos? The FXD looks so good.

Personally, I would wait...I could definitely see a Pelagos update (BB58 style of case? GMT complication?) since I believe it is the 10 year anniversary of that model.

·

The FXD is 12.75 mm and I believe the traditional Pelagos is 14.3 mm

·

Realistically... I think it'll be a ceramic Black Bay GMT.  As much as I too would love a BB58 GMT, I don't think it'll happen this year.

·

I want a 36mm Tudor Ranger........ otherwise I'll be pulling the trigger on a BB36 in silver dial.

·

A new Ranger in titanium with the new movement would be great.  Modern tech but vintage style.

·

I would be ready to throw my cash at them for a Pelagos GMT (they have the movement already) and it would fit in a pelagos case...
Any colour - i am there

Totally on board with a bb58 gmt!! What dial colour would be your choice?

·

A titanium bb58 would be epic!

·

I've heard It's gonna be a new Ranger..... don't know the dimensions hopefully sized at 36-39mm.

·

As mentioned above multiple times, Bring on a GMT. Even better would be a GMT Titanium. I'm not a huge fan of the snowflake/meat mallet hands. But it's not a deal breaker

·

I’m gonna make my somewhat personal prediction on the next great Tudor. It will be another diver sub model with a green ceramic bezel, silver dial and be a 41mm but slimmer in thickness
