I think it will work out great! Honestly it can only enrich the type of content that can be created by the team. They do value different opinions and styles here. I mean look at me, I'm a Tech YouTuber with 236K subscribers who expected to do that full-time last year, only to fall down the rabbit hole of watches and then find this amazing company that was excited to have my different skill set and have me join the team. I think your concern is a bit misplaced. Shouldn't people be more worried about what this means for Hodinkee's dwindling editorial staff versus the fact that we just added this amazing new member to our team? 😉

As a current member of the Watchbox family , this news unbelievably exciting! I have always loved reading Jack's articles and watching "Hey Hodinkee" each week. I've probably watched his Rolex Daytona 116500LN "A Week on the Wrist" video like a dozen times! I think the combo of Tim Mosso and Jack Forster is truly the start of something very special for the company, with two of the best minds in the business now working together on telling stories and sharing knowledge about these beautiful timepieces. Watchbox is a business sure, but it's about one thing first and foremost, the collecting journey. For that reason I think Jack's passion for watches and nuanced storytelling is the perfect fit for what our company is about. Looking forward to the ride! 😀

I can imagine! One of my phone dealers told me that like 90% of the listings now on our 3rd party selling sites here (Carousell and Facebook Marketplace) are all fake. These Aliexpress Moonswatch fakes are definitely flooding the market and I'm sure Indonesia is no different!  

Hehe, I actually think if you're in the market for a Moonswatch homage these Aliexpress replicas aren't too bad (and probably won't stain your wrist either!) My big issue is scammers charging regular Moonswatch prices and trying to sell these replicas as real. But honestly this just proves how low cost the Moonswatch probably actually is to produce for Swatch!
