Apparently this movie got a 9 minutes standing ovation, so I'm gonna watch it at some point.

To answer your post, sadly no movie watches.

But I do have the reissued Sea Quartz of Magnum P.I. fame. It's kinda like a very long, episodic movie.... 😂.

Not yet, but here soon. First is my '06/'07 Mako, then something new to me, the Arken Instrumentum, then my Sea Quartz.

Still sold by Momentum (St. Moritz Watch Co.), which incidentally enough has a direct blood lineage to the owners of Chronosport, the original maker of the first Sea Quartz.

Next batch should be almost here by now. Purchase through Momentum's site.

Also they are taking preorders for a Solar Black PVD variant, coming this fall.

It's gonna sell like hotcakes would be my guess. Strong Chronosport UDT vibes. Me I wish they would have the analog/Digi vibe of the OG UDT.

Since you already have a very cool Ana Digi, it probably doesn't matter as much.

Just checked their site, the steel is sold out at the moment. Don't worry it'll be back in stock, I wouldn't overpay, unless you get a screaming good deal on r/WatchExchange or ebay.

The watch would still be a reasonable deal under $400, but I have this deficiency where I don't like to pay MORE than what the manufacturer sells an item for.....

Hence why I do not have anything from some brands 😂.

Under $300 US.

Q. When is a movie watch not a movie watch?

A. When it's a smaller reissue from years after the movie's release.

I have a few, but the oddest one is this Android Alien as seen in Equilibrium. In the film, they all had black sterile dials, but I have the blue one so as to not be such a follower.

Image

Referencing Equilibrium just brought back all the feels.....Gun-kata/Gun Fu, swords, probably the only example of a cool Beretta M9, unfeeling human killing machines, neo-noir, post apocalypse, etc....

The LAST thing I needed was to put this on the BOLO for ebay/Watch Recon....thanks...... 😂 But...

Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. 😉

Also forgot to add:

Sean Bean, because why the heck not. Dude is turning into modern Christopher Walken, showing up all willy nilly everywhere lol.

·

That’s a smart looking watch 😎😍

Thank you sir!
