Not sure this is the best release of the year so far...personally if I'm buying a new watch I don't want it to be pre-aged! Reminds me of those daft Out Of Order watches. I like the worn look, but I'd rather it was naturally worn from my own use of the watch 👍

It looks great in the green & gold

Spot on. Ciga Design have been Red Dot award winners several times over in the last 5-6 years with watches across their model range, and they won a prize in the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève last year with the Blue Planet; serious achievement for any brand let alone a young Chinese microbrand!

I like them, I think they've differentiated themselves from the rest of the microbrand scene enough to stand out. They've certainly come a long way since the first post Rich made on r/watches!

I love pickled food. Pickled cucumbers, pickled onions, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickled ginger...it doesn't last long in my house 🤣

For me a GADA has to be quartz, ideally solar. Mechanical watches are nice and all but you can't depend on them in the same way that you can a quartz watch- they're much tougher and not prone to magnetisation at all. That's why my vote would be a Casio Oceanus S100 like @TimeOnMyHands suggested.
