Give a watch to someone that might not be able to afford one

I was working with a guy who had no to very little money. He had a lot of financial issues and I wanted to make his day. So I had a mint Invicta pro diver with a green bezel that I wasn't wearing and I decided to give it to him. When I gave it to him his face lit up and he was so happy to get it. I felt he needed something nice to wear when he was out with the family. So my story is about we as collectors should really be thankful that we can have a variety of watches to wear and not take it for granted. Also if you have a watch laying around and you know someone in need maybe give them one and we can make future enthusiast like ourselves peace. ✌️

In service to your fellow man is an honorable deed. Well done

Very nice gesture! I have done this myself in the past with Casio and Timex watches; given them to students who are struggling financially while they are in school.

I’m always thankful !! 🙏 and always appreciative of what my family have and if ever taken away always thankful for given the opportunity to experience them…will always thrive to do better and do greater things while staying humble and thankful…

Well done.

We need more of this in the world.

Well done!

I received a Corgeut that had a stutter in the second hand (evidently not uncommon). It kept excellent time but it was distracting to me so I gave it to a small local organization that helps homeless people (along with a note explaining how a mechanical watch works.) I'm sure they found someone that needed a watch.

(Neither Corgeut or Ali Express viewed the stutter as a defect so no refund - so that was my last Ali or Corgeut purchase)

That's awesome! A very cool gesture on so many levels as a colector and good person. Thank you for sharing

Yep yep yep. Have gifted many a watch. Is one way to give to those, who cannot afford, what I take for granted.

Kudos to you for the good deed.

Gave a casio to the woman who cared for my baby girl at the nursery when she broke her watch. Great feeling passing a watch on.
