Integrated leather strap watch
Today I am wearing my Cartier Santos de Cartier on the integrated leather strap.
I got the Santos two years ago when they were in the windows and I got like 12% discount, how times are changing.
It is one of my favorite watches, it sits so well on the wrist with its small case and curved shape. The bracelet is awesome, however I started a few month ago wearing it from time to time on the strap and I love it! The bracelet is really the king but the bracelet is the queen and not just a soldier^^ due to the proprietary strap connection even the strap is perfectly integrated. Never seen it that well executed.
So sports watches don’t have to be necessarily on a bracelet. :)

I'd love to add a Santos to my collection, but can't decide if I prefer the white dial medium or the blue dial large (WSSA0030). The nearest Cartier AD is several hundreds of miles away, so I haven't had a chance to try them on to see which size would work best for my 17cm wrist. I'd also really like to be able to compare the blue dial to the white dial. The blue dial version was the one that originally caught my eye, but the white dial is so classic looking.

I have a 16.5 cm wrist, I find the large model much to large. I would recommend the medium model. I general I find a Cartier watches should be small. The large versions of Santos and Tank look weird on the wrist, with the roman numerals and the blued sword hands it's very classic and traditional.

That is a pretty watch. elegant with subdued grace. Not a large colourful lump with a clicking thing on its face.
