Did you find a replacement? Thinking of the GW5000U-1 which is a bit fancier (solar,atomic time,stainless back)…good luck!
I’m thinking about the GW5000U-1 which is the same basic watch with atomic time/solar with some stainless steel and better strap-it’s msrp is $300-so that’s double the cost-it’s made for the Japanese Market I think.
(It weighs 74g as opposed to 51g)
Does it ‘feel too big’?it looks a bit over-but that could very well be the angle,size of lens,light…it doesn’t take away from the fact that its🔥
Can’t argue with a 5-it’s elegant,understated and straightforward…definitely THE gateway to the love of mechanicals.
