Some of my cheaper watches came with leather bands that are rather stiff and uncomfortable. I’m thinking about replacing them, but I’m curious what bands you all have found to be the most comfortable.
I recently purchased a ceramic Longines Hydro Conquest watch that came from the factory with a ceramic clasp that allows easy adjustment of the supple rubber strap, strap is quite thin so I assume will not wear for years and years but has to be one of the most comfortable straps that I have experienced. I have also had good luck with OEM fabric or nato straps from Omega and Tudor.
I’ve purchased a couple of different straps and love both. Delugs Calfskin Leather on my Longines Legend Diver and Zulu Diver Seaqual (recycled materials) on my Hamilton Field Khaki. Both came fairly quickly and very nice quality.
Barton Canvas are great, on Amazon, many colors, and cheap
Also, take your new Barton Canvas or nato and toss it in the washing machine. They sell bags for "delicates" but they work amazing to wash a strap and it makes them way more comfortable

A good rubber strap or a classic nato. Also bund straps are comfortable, but do not fit the look of many watches.
Silicon. Without a doubt, it is silicon for me.
Cordura /silicon hybrid strap from Barton.
Elite silicon strap from Barton.
OEM silicon strap from Armitron. I would also rate Hamilton nato straps as very comfortable.
OEM Hamilton nato strap on Khaki Pioneer Pilot.

I have many straps and my favourite, most flexible and soft, is my Rios1931 Inzell Organic Leather (below right, in Cognac).
Parachute strap is the most comfortable for me. Works especially well on lighter watches.
Single pass nylon/NATO.
(Space reserved for my Forstner Komfit and Klip)
Rubber fkm two piece.
Canvas two piece.
Everything else.

Colareb Leather and Dassari FKM rubber tropic strap work well for me. They come in XL sizes. The Hammy has the Colareb.
Erika's Original MN straps are the most comfortable straps I have ever worn, on anything from a light DS30, to my GSAR.
I’m a fan of rubber b straps. It integrates well with watches. If you’re looking for leather, it will vary on the material and break in period.
