I NEED YOUR HELP!

Alright y’all I really need your help here. So to give a little context as to why I need your help let me start off by saying. I am graduating this year and am off to college(well technical institute) in august and since I have bought a motorcycle recently and I will be off paying for school I won’t have a whole lot of money to spend on watches(I know big deal right?). But the reason I’m asking for help is I want to buy one more watch before I have to stop for a little while it might a good long few months before I can buy another watch so I need your help on what watch I should buy as “my last watch” for now at least. I know I should go with what I think is best but I like them all and just want opinions on what maybe you’d pick for your collection

I would go for the Seiko. Because I'm partial to green dials (that shade, some green shades are damn near nausea inducing), and it is a very good looking each

I know and understand that tickel on your wrist.

But being frankly:

Everything above 1K would be just too much for a fresh graduated.

There are challanges waiting for you which you don't know yet. Moving, new Job, marriage, children.

I would recommend you to look for a great alternative under 500. Put 1K to the side where you can't use it.

In one or two years your "future-you" will be thankfull to your "past-you".

My advise is to never prioritize a life style accessory above a basic need. Get your life sorted and think about a watch only after after you see how you are faring in college and that no unexpected expenses landed on your head.

Voted, but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend anything over 1K USD watch to a 1st year university student. Especially if you have to pay for college. But it’s your itch and money. Good luck!

If it's important to you and you have the money buy the watch. There are costs to not doing things as well. My biased preference is for the Frédérique Constant highlife with the grey dial. It's one of my daily watches, which makes this one of the few times that I find myself voting in one of these poles with actual money. I have owned that watch for a year and I love it. The finish on the case and bracelet exceeds what you see on other "entry level" integrated sports watches. The rubber and leather straps make it very versatile. You really can wear this with a suite or jeans and T-shirt. The movement is accurate (COSC certified), reliable, nicely decorated and easily services. I own watches that are more expensive that this one, but it always puts a smile on my face. Its water resistance is the only downside, but who actually takes a mechanical watch swimming?

the quality on the king seikos is a cut above 👍

Of the watches on display, I would gravitate towards the FC. That said, don't get it now. Not as a newly graduated student.
