This was quite hard to watch. Felt very rushed but admittedly I'm quite glad it was. Him and I probably wouldn't be friends. But that's okay, I don't need to like him.

I like Matt. I like listening to his stories. I first learned of him through the channel VinWiki on YouTube.

For anyone that didn't know, his dad was president of Ralph Lauren, after running the NYC Macy's store for a while. I haven't seen his stuff for a while but he was doing videos with the Weiss guy and it was rather disconcerting how someone who presented himself as a watch person and had spent a good deal knew so little. Maybe this has changed?

Fantastic interview. It seems like these interview a collector episodes are becoming very popular across many watch channels. They are enjoyable and well aligned with this form of digital content distribution. 10/10

The video showed two other colour ways in Teal and mint green, however I can't find them on the website. Anybody know why?

It was rushed, because they had to meet me at the party to help me set up tables. 😅

He is genuinely enthusiastic about what he does - both cars and watches- and despite how it seems on video, he is really a humble guy. As I said on an upcoming ABTW podcast with Matt and Ariel, I feel lucky that Matt is a cool guy because of how much we have to talk to each other during this process.

It was also his idea to raise a bunch of money and get people to give blood, and hopefully we saved a life or two in the process.

Come to a future event (Intersect ATL in March or Intersect LA in November). You'll get to meet him and the team and I am sure you'll change your mind.

I hope so … on his podcasts he comes across pompous … could be me… maybe I’ll come meet this so called Matt eventually …
