So, I found an authorized dealer near me with a certified watchmaker where I am going to have some small repairs and upgrades done. Anyway, I was looking around and saw the Citizen case. I tried on the new 36mm Citizen Promaster Diver, and, well, you see, I bought it. ๐ I really like it! It wears like my SKX013. As TGV would say, I am chuffed to bits with this one. Already listed my 42mm Promaster Diver on ebay and got a bid on it. ๐
One really surprising thing on this one; the strap on this one is much higher in quality and much softer than the strap on my larger one. Also surprisingly is the fact that the straps on the new larger Promaster Divers are the same. Citizen failed to upgrade those. Wonder why.
LรบmรซgaudAnar is the correct spelling, and means time machine of the sun in Quenya. I've been collecting for a few years and have a decent collection of mostly budget and entry-level watches with a few...

Nice watch, prefer a smaller diver, wish I could put my Duro in the wash and shrink it a touch. Its also great the Great British "chuffed" it spreading its wings around the globe. I think Citizen are guilty with of a few sandwiches short of a picnic with some of their straps. Pleased you bagsy'd that watch immediately, its the Bee's Knees.
Congrats on the new and smaller variant.
Saw that one as well. Iโve always wanted a smaller diver around 36mm. Looks great.

Right? Why doesn't their new Save the Ocean or whatever their blue ocean watch is called have this new softer strap? That one was also at the dealer and I did try it on, but it had the hideous hard rubber strap like my first Promaster Diver.

It goes well with my SKX013. ๐

I think I will have to look for that. My bank account will be sad but my wrist will be smiling.
I'm pretty sure that there was a 37mm variant already, I was looking at it to get it for the mrs

You could probably find it a lot less expensive online than the full price I paid at my AD. ๐คฃ I bought it there to further my relationship with them, just in case I ever find myself in the position of being able to purchase a luxury watch. They also had the new Tissot Sideral S I tried on, and a Tudor Ranger I got to try on. I will have to remember to get pics next time! ๐ช

I saw one of the 34mm models for sale on ebay, if you are still looking.
Gotcha. I did give mine the hot water treatment to help break it in, but I didn't think it was that bad to begin with. Maybe I've just never experienced a really nice strap before. ๐
You should check out the rubber straps for the Seiko Prospex line. I replaced the cheap rubber strap on my SKX with a strap for a SPDE (I think) and it is the best rubber strap I have had.

I believe thatโs the e02020?
I believe thatโs the e02020?
Yes, it is.
Probably getting one for my son for his 9th birthday ๐ He said the other day that he also wanted a dive watch!!
There was a 34mm version released some years ago; you can still find those on ebay. Of course, both the 34mm and this current 36mm version are ladies watches, at least according to Citizen. ๐คฃ
My wife has a 34 mil PMD. It's quite neat. It came with the nasty, stiff strap though.
Is the strap on that new promaster 18mm ?
