Took it apart and discovered the seconds hand was not fully seated and indeed, was touching the bottom of the crystal. Reset the hand, and went ahead and tweaked the regulation from slightly slow to slightly fast. By the way, the inside of this watch is sweet with excellent machining, a beautiful metal spacer and an engraved inside caseback. Double gaskets. Enamel finish on the dial and hands is impeccable out of the case. Of course my warranty is void now, but don't care. Love the watch.
Agree on seconds hand rubbing crystal. I have examined carefully and it appears its right up against the bottom of the crystal. Stack height looks generous... Wonder if I should just fix it myself. I have built watches and have the tools, but think its better to return and not void warranty.
