Next up!

I have decided to get a Christopher Ward The 12 I love the integrated bracelet and the options for a quick swap to a rubber strap. I have also been toying with the idea of a luxe quartz in the collection. Given I’m torn by looks by the twelve and the movement from the Grand Seiko I wanted to see what the community would do. Thanks for all

Of your opinions. Any other ideas around 3k are welcome!

Easy GS choice there but for just over 3k you could get a spring drive, colour matched date, lume, etc. That might sway me.

If i was looking for a quartz GS I think I would be looking at a GMT

Also for just over 3k I like the Longines centre power reserve

That Basalt Grey dial CW12 is amazing. Way too dressy for me, but if I ever grow up I'll have to have one.

I’m afraid the CW12 design will look a bit dated say 5 years down the line. The GS was, is and will be a classic and timeless watch design.

·

It’s not fair comparison. I know the heart wants what the heart wants. So both.

I like the CW. It has a more unique design. The GS looks blah to me. It looks like a regular ol Seiko with a bigger price tag.

Different class of watch. Even though CW is excellent in it's own right, it cannot compete with a GS.

·

Between the two I’d pick the #christopherward

It’s a bit more interesting. If all you care about is the movement and the insides, then clearly the GS. But if you’re like most and want the better looking of the two, it’s CW

Get the Grand Seiko quartz 100% definitely. As someone else as said it’s a timeless watch which will never go out of ‘fashion’.
