I purchased the new 36mm Explorer I this year. My daughter loved it so much I gave it to her. Once you wear one you get why so many other brands copy it. Great movement upgrade, feels awesome on wrist, the bracelet is super solid and the lume in beautiful. Lots of great designs are "overhyped" because they are awesome. This is a timeless classic. Keep bugging your AD & you will get one at retail.

I admit this one is very tempting even having the Explorer and the Summiteer.
There were at least two newly available as of yesterday on r/WatchExchange. Pretty reasonably priced, too, if memory serves.
don't stop until you have one. it's not worth paying over retail but of all the Rolex available, this is the best one to have, Works in every occasion. As an owner of the 39mm i can affirm it's a cracking piece and i doubt your have any regret
