Thanks for sharing your knowledge! That watch did never See the American Continent though. My Grandpa got it in switzerland after getting his first Job there. He has never been to the US. This watch also has never been touched by anybody. It still had its first mainspring which unfortunatley let down on me.

So what about watches wichtig the clown at 4 o'clock like many seiko divers or heck even the promaster 0040 with the clown at 8 o'clock not even touching your Hand. Almost the same Deal with other recessed crown watches. Imo we should differenciate.

Thanks for the Info! Yes its manually wound and has what I assume to be 18000 vph. And youre correct: There is no GP Logo on the watch itself. Didn't know you could date it just because of the abscence of the Logo
