Sinn Klassik 12 on white FKM rubber strap

I'm still feeling summer weather where I'm at. A good rubber strap is a must for hot days. As such, got my Sinn 103 Klassik 12 on a white Slim Ridge FKM rubber strap from StrapHabit today.

That is such a gorgeous watch.

One of the watches I wear and look at the watch more times just to look at than to actually read the time.

·

Strong, like white straps and yours is no exception.

I can see why. I'm a fan of Sinn, with 3 in my collection, but none as good looking as the 103 Klassic 12.

Spectactular! Gorgeous watch and looks great on the white FKM.

·

Wow! Beautiful watch especially on white rubber. I'm off to read up on that watch now!!

·

Stunning watch!

·

That's a very good looking watch, I'm on it 🤦

Update:

As crazy as it may sound, I've actually been trying to sell this a few times. But, whenever I put it on the wrist again to check my decision, I can't help but admire it and take the listing off. It's quite the handsome and enjoyable timepiece.

Haha! I’ve had this before. Put a watch for sale, got an offer and went “naaaah, it’s just been sold to someone else” then withdrew the listing 😂

Great watch! The white strap works really well with the black and white dial.

How do you feel about the case thickness ?

Beautiful

Yes, most will faint at the thickness at nearly 17mm.. but, keep in mind that is with the stunned sapphire crystals on front and back which to my eyes is at least 3mm themselves. So, if you think of the case itself actually being more like 14mm thick or so, that's actually not that crazy for an automatic chronograph.

The case is well divided to break up the mass visually. I never felt it unwieldy nor too heavy and actually always comfortable. Key to maintaining comfort for such a watch is proper strap securement to wrist. If worn too loose it won't work. It has never caught on any cuff. I think if you ask anyone that has other 103's of similar design, they will likely say the thickness is not an issue and watch wears comfortably.

Never seen this before. Just another reason to love Sinn.

It's a 60th anniversary limited edition from late 2021.

What a beauty! How are its dimensions?

Don't have the exact specs. 41mm x 17mm thick. See my reply to another comment asking about the thickness to understand how it actually wears for me. 7" wrist for ref.

That is a beautiful Sinn!! Love it on the white strap.

Man I can't get enough of this watch! Love it

When you have had those thoughts about selling it- what drove those thoughts?

I've been thinking about this watch for a while and your YouTube videos have been a part of my research process- so it makes me a bit curious when you mention you've been wrestling with the thought of selling it a couple times.

Pretty simple, I went too many watches. But, I simply can't have it all So, I'm in the process of picking and choosing which ones I really want to keep. There's something that's going to be much more expensive that this could be applied to if I sell it. But, I actually really like this piece and have strong reluctance to sell it. And thus, I'm pricing it as such that if it sells for a certain amount, then I'm willing to let it go. But if it doesn't, I will not sell for under the price that I want it for, I will just be as well to keep it.

Additionally, for a reverse Panda chronograph, there are actually quite a lot of choices out there. So, I do have something in mind if I ever plan to replace with a very similar look to this watch. This an easier aesthetic for me to find a replacement for, but not necessarily I really want to find a replacement for, if you know what I mean.

Yes, I could go either way on the sell of this watch if you understand where I'm coming from. On one hand, I don't really want to sell it and I really like it, on the other hand, I could use that money toward something else I might really like even more, additionally, reverse panda chronographs there are an abundance of out there for me to alternatively choose if I ever wanted to get something like that back into the collection someday.

... and, as I wait for then idea situation for me to sell this watch, I continue to enjoy it and put it back on wrist to gauge and reassess my feelings about the watch. And, always, I look down at it on wrist and think that's a damn handsome looking watch! And, I feel content not ever selling the watch... perhaps I should stop putting it back on wrist like that😅.. then again, there is maybe something telling that I keep wanting to put the watch back on wrist to enjoy and maybe reaffirm my feelings about the watch... Damm it! It's just a damn watch. Why have feelings around it got to be so complicated!?

Lovely wish that date wasn't located at 430 but the color looks nice and somewhat blended in the color way. Enjoy.
