"Connecting the dots". 1st, Happy B-Day to my boy who turns 6 today. 2nd, it's a cool coincidence it's on Star Wars day, so May the 4th Be With You all. I don't have any Star Wars themed watches. So, 3rd, the best I can do is represent with a R2-D2-esque colors with my TAG Heuer Carrera Montreal on a Delugs White with Navy Center Stripe. Love this combination and it was my watch I wore to Wind-Up SF yesterday which was fun with some friends. And, this watch will be the one through this weekend. Lastly, going off the TAG Heuer theme, this one is KITH free. Have a great weekend

love the Carerra Tag models. That blue white is the best. Never considered the RTD2 angle, but that works 👍
The Kith Tag or Kith Heuer is so dumb. Those F1 models were cool when I was in high school but putting some unknown T shirt brand in the brand name makes the watch valueless

Thanks. Yeah, I always liked this model when it came out.. I think back in 2021? Anyways, finally decided to find a good condition second hand one.
Lol. I just stretching my imagination to make the festive Star Wars connection. Best I currently have to work with.
On one hand I'm glad they brought the old F1 back. On the other hand just a it too greedy and asking price. And you really can't even buy the entire set if you wanted to without the box set which adds an extra premium on top of it all. I understand TAG Heuer is a luxury brand but I think capping the F1 at maybe $1k might seem a bit more reasonable. But, it doesn't excuse or get a pass molesting the original TAG Heuer logo on the watch and just about everywhere else.
I didn't know about KITH until about maybe 2 weeks prior to the F1 release watching a Hodinkee video with the brand owner and his watch collection. It's actually a pretty cool collection and I guess the tie in to the &1 collab comes because he is a big (neo?) vintage TAG Heuer F1 collector. I give the guy props for being self-made and successful with an impressive watch collection. But, I still could care less about the brand and it does nothing for to attract me towards a purchase. Quite the opposite.
Keep the proper original logo and maybe modernize it a bit by at least going up to 38-39mm and maybe it would be a winner.
