Show us your dressiest and your most toolish piece! How much contrast do you have in your collection?
Pictured my latest two pick ups, which couldn’t be much more different - one in soft gold metal with dressy proportions - one in hardwearing PVD coating, still issued to the military. (I guess one similarity is that both watches are quartz.)

Definitely contrasting - but with some share DNA. Love the look of the Glashutte! So handsome.
My favorite, the Longines, and my first mechanical, the Hamilton.

My most expensive watch is my most tooly 🤣
Let's see..... Overall I prefer tool watches the most.

That’s a legendary pairing. I’ve had both (my ellipse was a 1969 - white gold with proper lugs like yours - but with a blue dial.)
Fabulous! A similar theme to my Pelagos/ datejust above?
If I absolutely had to choose...
Lorier Zephyr / Dietrich SD1
Absolutely loving the Zephyr

What did you do to that poor President?..drag it behind the car? it looks pretty sad.. Good choices...Enjoy the hobby
Dressiest and most toolish? Probably these two. Baltic MR01 and Stowa Baumuster B Flieger.
@Justingalore same same but different
My most dressy is a toss up so I chose my Michel Herbelin with genuine lizard strap. My most tooled watch would be my Sector Expander that is known to be used by Italian military members.
Does the Italian military watch have a "surrender" complication? Or possibly of it changes sides half way through it may be a " reversso"?😀
Okay...here goes..but these selections change on a semi regular basis LOL
Snap! See above....

Hahaha! That's a good one! #mussolini
I didn't think about doing more than one.

That’s a lot of Cartier! 👏
My nicest dress watch is a toss up between the 2 below;
The most industrial, for want of a better expression, would probably be these;

love the new francaise
love the new francaise
I had a Tank Francaise in the 90s & I thought I was "the man" when I was wearing it. Unfortunately the many mistakes in my youth caught up with me & I had to sell either of the Tank Francaise or the Pasha that I owned in order to pay tax arrears.
Whichever watch sold first solved the problem I had, in my heart I wanted it to be the Pasha. Well that never happened, the Tank Francaise was snapped up inside a few days. I was gutted.
When the new model came out at the end of last year I thought it looked beautiful & decided now was the time to heal the wound & buy it. That was in February of this year & since then, I swear I haven't worn it more than half a dozen times. I don't know what it is, I just haven't taken to the watch & don't have a great deal of love for it. I'd gladly sell it & buy the old model if I could get a decent price for it. 😢

Oh no what a shame. The used prices on the new model aren’t great alas. On the flip side the used prices on older model Francaise are really low at the moment - so there are bargains to be had..
I’ve flirted with the idea of a francaise for a long time but keep getting diverted by other models (Tanks, Santos’, pantheres etc!)
