The suggestions to wait a few days is good. I’ve had the 2252 in black on my watch list for years, and finally pulled the trigger this week. The want list is long, and if you’re like me, letting go is hard so the accumulation kicks in without even trying. Enjoy it either way.
So many suggestions that I can second. Makes me think that this is THE biggest segment of watches To choose from and one will result in some jealous glances once a decision is made.
The Vero open water has a more modern style of diver And one I haven't seen mentioned yet.
So many great suggestions already! Dress watch with a suit is more flexible than dress watch with a tux. Tissot PRX in my world is sports dress that can be worn with a suit. Mido Belluna goes with a tux. Whatever the watch, make sure it fits under the cuff.

what a watch! mind if I ask what your wrist size is? Im lusting after the Revival Shadow and wondering about fit on my 6.5” wrist.
IWC Mark watch on a bracelet. My Mark XV is so comfortable and unobtrusive. Doesn’t have the water resistance of a diver, but works 98.5% of the time for me.
(I’d post a picture but after 10+ years, its get some much deserved spa time)
