The watch has a Quartz movement (Ronda 515.24H). It's a very good quartz gmt movement. Plus I paid less than $200 for this watch which is a lot of value for the money. That's why I bought it. I can get pass the quartz movement with all the value here.

I won't apologize, but I will follow you. You are a gentleman and have shown respect in our interaction and THAT is a quality that I value.

Thank you for clarifying. You could still service the watch with the manufacturer even without the warranty. I buy from gray market because most of the time the watches are well taken care of and the seller often offers some warranty coverage on their own terms. Also that depends on what watch you are buying. Certainly I would not buy rolex or other more luxurious brands from gray market. For those I would prefer to buy directly from AD or pre own because of warranty. So in my opinion it depends if what I'm buying is a watch that I want to get it covered buy manufacture warranty, then I would buy it from AD or directly from the manufacturer.

I don't need to apologize because I didn't say something that could be considered offensive per se. You did say that you (and I quote) "I’m neither. I typically buy pre-owned from a reputable source." Which means in plain English that: a) you don't buy from online and Gray market jewelers, b) you don't recognize them as reputable sources. Maybe you were trying to say something else, but what you wrote has this connotation of disregard towards online and Gray market stores. I won't apologize since there's nothing to apologize for. We are GROWN people here so let's be mature about it

Your comment implies that buying online or in the gray market is not reputable which is a false argument. There are PLENTY of reputable and well established online jewelry/watch stores and Gray market stores as well (Jomashop, Macy's, Teddy Baldassarre, etc...) which provide you with original packaging and papers. I don't know... Your comment makes you sound like a snob (don't know if you are, but that's what it sounds like)
