Should I pull the trigger?

I was recently browsing around Chrono24 looking at Tissot PR100s and saw this lovely-looking piece, recently after watching the new episode of Anachronist I was thinking about getting a campy style watch and this seems to fill all the gaps (and I wanted a complicated watch for quite some time) but I tried to convince myself to not buy any watches until Christmas and already broke that so I'm split, should I buy it or not? ( It also has a pretty good price)

I voted no without even looking because I always discourage purchases, but this is super sweet. Who doesn't want a two tone triple calendar with moon phase?

If it's not a financial strain, go for it.

Look at your bank balance, your watch collection and your heart.

Can you afford the watch? Is this something that I currently do not have in my collection? Do I really like and want this watch? If yes to all, buy. If no to any, think about it more.

It's like asking junkies if you should get high. Sure! Go for it!

Why do you always discourage purchases??

·

I don't think you should if you are a bit tight on money right now.

·

Living within means is important and delaying gratification is important and has benefits. You’ll be able to find a good price when you can afford it.

I voted buy because the watch seems cool (hope in good condition too ? Take care that the battery didn't leaked and damaged the whole movement).

But honestly in your situation (already short in the watch money until christmas), I would pass. Or send a message to the seller with my problematic and asking to keep it for me until the date but I promise to buy it.

It is usually the wiser course of action and I don't mind being a devil's advocate for unpopular causes. In this case, it's a desirable watch and not just somebody trying to fill a personal void or jump on a bandwagon.

I won't buy from Chrono24 again. My last purchase was super shady on multiple levels. I was offered a $100 refund on a $5000+ purchase to give positive feedback. I let them keep the $100 and now share my terrible Chrono24 experience every chance I get.

Other buyers also report Chrono24 being hit or miss including some prominent YouTubers. I wonder how many of their satisfactory ratings had an unknown financial inducement like I was offered?

Many watch dealers are fine until they're not. Buyer beware.

Doesn’t look in great condition. I hope the price is really that good.

I really don't like it, but I voted buy buy buy, anyway. If it floats your boat, go for it. Your wrist your rules 👍
