What's the best size and why is it 36mm?

Any size that begins with a 3. I like 33mm just as much as 36mm.

My standard group are 36, 37, 39, 40, 45, and 49mm. All of them are perfect. ✨
Diameter is an overrated measurement. I feel like lug to lug and/or the ratio of diameter to thickness matter more for wearability.
38mm seems about right for my wrist. Love me some #seiko SARB time.
Or... 36mm.
But I think it really depends mainly your own wrist-size and the style/type of the watch.
36mm suits my small wrist well as long as the lug to lug is 46mm or under. other than that, its a great size for most wrists for a dress or sports watch

So first— 36mm is most certainly the best… duh. But I also just needed to say thanks for sharing that picture— I JUST bought that dial for a fun gold(ish) watch I want to make. So excited!

Some of us numbskulls are wearing Certinas with a slim bezel you get more watch than a lot of 42mm watches without the weight
