Thanks y'all for your answers. Seems like mine is faulty on this very point. I'll drop it at my AD this sunday with my Tudor Prince Date+Day which has started to make an awful rotor noise since this week. I have to say I'm quite disappointed with the brand atm.. My two Tudors which are both way less than a year old need already repairs.. Not acceptable at this price point.
@Sir_Albert Is that a good old Gen 2 Mitsubishi Pajero on the Citizen open heart shot?
It has to be a robust (200m WR at least) watch from a big name with solid background in the industry. James Bond is Bond, he can't wear an average/cheap watch. Is has to be in his way top of the line as the guy is. The watch need also to be versatile : fit for action, casual and dress.
I'd go for what I've seen above : BlancPain Fifty Fathom could be a great choice. It has all of the above combined plus the fact that is it the true OG.
Tudor could be a great choice as well. The Pelagos might be a bit too flashy for Bond so I'd go for the BB58 or the BBPro (Bond could use a GMT).
Why not Longines, Zulu Time perhaps?
I really love this watch but I do think they kinda fail two things that stop me from getting it. First of all, as you said the not-so-good-looking clasp.. and the more important to me which is a thing that upset me a lot on other watches/brands : 100m WR watches should have a screw-down crown. Besides these two points, they did a great job, it might be one of the best watch choice at this price point. Too bad for me I'm way too picky sometimes.
