Citizen: They make cheep and cheerful Eco-drive professional dive watches, but also make the The Citizen watches for formal occasions.

My runner-up would be Marathon, since the GSAR would be the perfect for most of Bond's informal activities. The GSAR has essentially taken the place that the old Rolex and Omega military issue dive watches filled. I suppose CWC would work as well, but I have no experience with CWC watches.

·

Farer. Keeping it in UK.

·

CWC for the millitary connection.

·

Hamilton Khaki Chono. large

·

Richard Mille -- Coz 007 is an action Jackson.

Richard Mille RM50-01 Lotus F1 G-Sensor Tourbillon NTPT

For Bond, the ladies man, G-Sensor is the most used 'complication'

·

Bremont

·

Easy choice would be Tudor, as I feel like it has replaced Rolex for what the company originally stood for.

I also second Citizen, I feel like they make some serious tool watches that's oft overlooked.

JLC Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication

This watch comes with so many complications that Q won't have to add anything.

·

MVMT Watches 🤔

·

Moonswatch!  It’s not an Omega!

perfect for that Moonraker re make!(as long as it doesn’t break during filming 😬)

All the points here.

I like the idea of Tudor - of course a #pelagos . Maybe not the #fxd due to lack of bracelet. The #pelagos is a clear Tudor version of the #seamaster  and the #submariner .

Somebody said #bremont - I totally get that.

I totally get the #cwc - a diver watch of course. Perhaps when Bond is in the Royal Navy just before joining Mi6.

Yes to the #marathon watches to, but perhaps for Bond cousins from CIA?

I’m a bit of a James Bond aficionado, especially when it comes to the original novels and Ian Fleming. I strongly  believe if the stories were written today he’d be wearing a Tudor Pelagos.

Citizen was my first thought as well. I think a Navihawk would be an excellent Bond watch.

Hublot Big Bang (the trick - it’s a smart bomb), and every time he messes it up he gets one of those service Hublots. It practically writes itself.

Have to go with Tudor

Invicta Grand Diver

BOLDR

I think the original military dive watch would be the most appropriate...

Farer, CWC or Bremont would suit him fine.

Another vote for Blancpain. The Bathyscaphe:

It has to be a robust (200m WR at least) watch from a big name with solid background in the industry. James Bond is Bond, he can't wear an average/cheap watch. Is has to be in his way top of the line as the guy is. The watch need also to be versatile : fit for action, casual and dress.
I'd go for what I've seen above : BlancPain Fifty Fathom could be a great choice. It has all of the above combined plus the fact that is it the true OG.
Tudor could be a great choice as well. The Pelagos might be a bit too flashy for Bond so I'd go for the BB58 or the BBPro (Bond could use a GMT).
Why not Longines, Zulu Time perhaps?

Absolutely

·

A. Lange und Söhne Datograph

Just for the pleasure of watching Bond pronounce that one when asked if the watch is a Rolex. Bonus points for flipping the watch over to discuss the finishing on the movement.

·

Bremont Martin Baker hands down.

·

Swatch System51

Fears.

A modern watch company that just happens to have a British heritage, to paraphrase Mr. Bowman-Scargill. I think they could create a watch any spy would wear under their superbly followed tagline "Elegantly Understated"
