I'm bit deep in the two tone game.๐ It happened kinda by accident and when I bought the first one tt was uncool.
To be honest the first one I bought, the DJ, I bought becouse it was a great deal and was thinkig of flipping it. Two tone was a meh for me, not for or against. But when I got it I fell in love.
I owned the 39mm explorer and even thoug it was a great watch, I felt it was bit big and bit boring, still I loved the dial layout. So when the 124273 was announced I knew I had to have one.
The tt OQ just looked better to me than steel one.
So is the tt cool or uncool to you?ย
I absolutely love it. I feel it's great balance between looks and functionallity. I do understand if someone doesen't like the looks, but find it bit silly to think they are less cabable. Of course gold is bit softer than steel, but ding in the bezel doesen't affect the functionally of the wach.
And I don't baby mine and use the tt explorer same as the steel one, hiking, biking ect.

Good for you. If you love it, that's the end of it, I'd say. Not a fan of most two-toned watches myself (reminds me of old Chinese men wearing a Rolex or Rado two tones with a wife-beater and one of those big ass khaki shorts just lounging around at kopitiams.) Urgh.ย
You do you, my man. As long as you're happy with it I'm happy for you.
Two tone didnโt come back because it never went away!
I donโt seem to have any photos of my two tones on my phone, so I will have to post this one tone.
OK, hereโs a two tone Tissot Gentleman.
And, now I have a shot of my other two tone.
I'm not really a fan of two tone to be honest. The Rootbeer is pretty cool looking (the Rolex one especially but also the Tudor); however, off the top of my head, that combo is really the only one that has made me think of possibly buying.
Having said that, if others like two-tone I think thats awesome and they should enjoy the heck out of wearing them!
Probably the only two-tone I like.ย
you got a appetite just like my father sir, not my choice but i appreciate it ๐๐ป
Man, every time I see photos of the 124273 I wonder if I should have bought that over my 124270โฆ
Awesome collection! Especially dig that Oysterquartz.
Not for me. ย I associate two-tones with men of my father's generation.
I really want a two tone bracelet for this Invicta, a bit harder as the pro diver I have is that "rose gold" so it stays on the leather band for now
I really liked a two-tone Sea-Dweller that was available for sale but my fiancรฉ vetoed it ๐

I've heard a lot of things people assosiate tt with, but never that.๐คฃ
I just hope this doesn't stick in to my brain.
Yep, the tt datejust was a steal by todays prices.
Gold and black go together great, very nice turn o graph.

Really nice watches, I do have to admid that I'm eyeing full gold watches myself.
Probably the only two-tone I like.ย
Love these omegas too. Was really close buying tt aquaterra.

Thanks. Many feel it's dad watch and perhaps it is, I am a dad.๐คฃ
You like what you like. The main thing in my oppinion is to keep an open mind, witch you do.
The Santos is an amazing watch, would love to own one someday.
Tt explorer sure is a divisive watch. I love it. I feel it's the closest Rolex will come to making a heritage piece. Just wish the text was gold too, bit a missmatch there to me.

Yeah, that endlink compability is a problem if you can't find one that is made for the watch.
I bought a bracelet with hollow endlink and was able to fit it to a watch by bending the endlink.

It's an expensive venture for sure๐

I'm warming to gold in general. ย
