I would, but they're usually too small or fleeting for me to identify. I have much better luck identifying the firearms than the watches 😊

Yeah, I'll normally stop a movie at a clear watch shot and try and determine the brand/model.

My most memorable one is the Hamilton Ventura, the official Men In Black watch. Bought it when we did MIB for Halloween in 2008.

Seems like a lot of Crunchers are 007 fans with their love for Omega Seamasters

I usually try to stop and check if I either don't know it and think it's cool looking or think I know it and want to verify. I've noticed twice that the protagonist was wearing the same watch I was at the time, once with my Hamilton Khaki Auto and once with my G shock Rangeman. That's always kind of a fun moment.

If you're as arrogant as I am, you become the movie character protagonist and get excited when you spot your own watch on your wrist.

2. Seiko Captain Willard from Apocalypse Now

3. Omega Speedmaster worn by George Clooney in The American

Nah. I really don’t care about that. Just love the watch. I bought my first Seamaster in 2001 and had no clue that bond wore them. Isn’t about that at all.

The Vostok Amphihia, worn by Steve Zissou in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Love the movie, at less than 100€ a no brainer to get the watch.

I have a few casios that have been in movies. The DW290 and gshock 6900 were in Mission Impossible 1 & 2. Apparently, my Casio ae1000w was in some movie with Armie Hammer, but I've never seen the film

I gave my husband a vintage Omega from the Mad Men series (worn by Don Draper, found preloved of course) a few years ago for his birthday, he was happy 😊

I gravitate toward watches with a story, be it true or fictional, so movie watches get extra points for me.
