I've noticed (we've been in the SOTC season recently) that it's customary to refer to ones "core" collection. I assume this is so we don't have to admit to all the G-Shocks and grandad-legacy Timexes that are locked away in a cupboard?
I treat the beater - an affordable Casio Mission Impossible in my case - seperately from my collection, as I view it as a specific tool for training or PT at work. If that makes sense?

If so, I have five. 😉
This! I own two watches that belonged to family members. I never wear them amd they don't leave the house. I don't even know if they still work 😅 officially they belong to the collection but I never count them.
So the answer is, 3 watches in my core collection. 5 if you include them.
I have around 120, separated in Swatch -, Pocket -, “All Country In The World” -, Russian -, Marketing -, Special/Exeptional -, Sport/Sailor -, War/Soldier -, HighEnd and all day watches.
I thought we were collecteurs..? 😁
Naaah, I may be a hoarder egen it comes to watches.
I have 22 modern watches including the old Fossil and Timex plus about a dozen vintage pieces. My wife has 25 modern watches and a box full of vintage ladies watches, mostly tiny old cocktail watches from the 50s and 60s.

5+beater for me.

Perhaps that's how I'm justifying 6 watches 😂
24, and one in the mail arriving this week.
Don't judge me! 😂
I have 14 in my collection. That’s including the inherited & gifted watches too. I want to cut it down to 8 or 9, but man is that tough 😬
12 or more, stopped counting 😂 (but I plan on selling 1 or 2)
55 but this year I will hopefully be downsizing 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🙏🏻
About 2 dozen. Selling my first.

It is a prime number larger than 43 and smaller than 79.

Ummm. 73?

3-Casio G-Shock
1-Laco
2-Grand Seiko
3-Omegas
1-Breitling
2-Seikos
Ummm. 73?
No, that would be insane.
No one excluded! Long live the Timex watches inherited from grandpa!
Tssk. Okay. Including the dial-less case with a Seiko 7S26A I'm keeping for spares; Thirteen. 😕
Do you count them if 2 are on eBay?
If not, then 13!
30ish and counting. Would probably sell some but I don’t know how 😉
8 from 8 different brands
25 watches right now and a couple purchases planned this year 😭🤣
Genuinely no idea how many I own, maybe 20ish I'm aware of plus lots stashed in boxes in lofts I've forgotten about from my younger day's.
But that sounds a bit obsessive, so I say something between 6-10 I don't wear regularly and 5-6 I do have "in rotation" 🥸
23 including the two I bought for the wife - not one single case or movement laying around unaccounted for
27 total. 15 get worn. 10 in core collection.
Whoops….😳
I have around 120, separated in Swatch -, Pocket -, “All Country In The World” -, Russian -, Marketing -, Special/Exeptional -, Sport/Sailor -, War/Soldier -, HighEnd and all day watches.

Just a bit over 50…

Six, with three definitely being beaters and the other three arguably being beaters.
