Do you like Balls?

I've been thinking about making this Ball my first watch above $1,000. It's thin, tough, that tritium world be a cool touch and looks elegant. The problem is, I can't get my hands on on one before I buy it.

Do they feel like they are solid? I worry about the friction clasp system the most.

I have 2 of them (the watches. Lol) and they are great. I feel that this brand is very under rated for what they have done. Their prices are pretty value for money, compared to some other well-known brands.

I really want their pilot lineup.

Don’t own one my self but I have heard great things.

Awesome post! 🤩

Thank you for sharing this with us

Keep up the good work 🙌🏾

I own the Trainmaster Moonphase and like you, it was my first watch purchase over $1K. I love it. I also took a chance and purchased without seeing one in person and it exceeded my expectations.

I love mine. Very high quality. I have no issues with the friction butterfly clasp on mine. Screw pins for adding/deleting half-links.

Similar quality to my Oris Aquis and Longines Spirit Zulu, and even though it has a Selita movement, it is COSC certified and keeps better time.

Pay attention to the specs because they have different movements and materials on different watches.

Ball is a pretty solid value at this price. I have often thought of picking up a Fireman Victory just because it’s such a great value. It’s like they forgot about this model when they jacked the price up on everything else. I swear this is the same price or less than they were five years ago.

I own a Engineer II Moon Calendar. If is a very solid feeling piece and I love it. I would not shy away from the brand. I may someday add another Ball to my collection. I am very happy with the value I feel I got for the price I paid.
