Changing the dial to a 12, 3, 6, 9 would be my suggestion as well. But that’s the only thing I would change.
My wrist (and fingers) change diameter a lot throughout seasons or even throughout the day. And I had a hell of a time getting a good fit on my Seiko Land Tortoise. So I bought this micro adjust clasp on eBay. Not the most high end but works great! https://a.co/d/4Fjpii9
