Hemel Check 6
I was in the market for a field watch and was prepared to drop the hammer on either a Hamilton Murph, a Hamilton Automatic Titanium or a Seiko Prospex Alpinist. Then I saw a YouTube vid on this watch. It’s a collaboration between Hemel and the Islander brand. Gorgeous! Ink black dial, oyster style bracelet and overall polishing are top notch. Add double dome sapphire crystal, signed screw down crown, 200 meters water resistance and on the fly adjustable clasp….all for $299. Had to have it!

It’s actually a bit smaller than it appears in the pic. 40 mm case size. 48 mm lug to lug.
