I need some help making a decision again!
I recently purchased the 40mm Explorer. Whilst the bracelet is quality and it will spend most of the time on it, I'm also looking at a rubber B for it. I have a black one for my Sub and love it.
I like the idea of the white, but I'm concerned about it picking up dirt and being hard to keep white.
I'm also drawn to the green. I have a green OP 41mm, so there's potential that it may fit that too, as they are both the same thickness and have 21mm lug width ๐ค
The black is classic, but I have the Sub on the black rubber b and would like something different - I think!
What do you guys and gals think??
Go with white or green
Hey a fluorine rubber strap as well. They are very nice on the skin.
I didnโt vote. I donโt know how much they are, they look expensive but get all three, they all look equally great with the Explorer. โบ

They are $240 each. I live in the UK, so I will have to pay import tax (possibly VAT too).......

Everest? Wowza ๐ฑ. In that case, black, looks really sharp, white does too but yeah, maybe over time it would pick up some stain.

Rubber B. I think are better than Everest, but others will disagree.
Everest v Rubber B is an ongoing debate! ๐คฃ
You are not wrong about the white. I have a white rubber (not RubberB) which came with the Ming 37.07. It was white for about one day, now it's trending towards camo ๐ฎ
That said, I still prefer it over the alternatives.
I hear both are great but i can't get myself to pay this much for rubber. Can somebody explain to me why they are soo expensive?
I'd love to help but Im too busy just starimg at your watch๐๐
I chose the white, because you seem to like it and if it does get a little dirty you can probably just clean it of with a (clean) toothbrush.
I would go with the green, I think that the white would be a pain to keep white, and, in my opinion, the green goes well with both the OP 41 and the explorer.
I found the Rubber B a bit too stiff, especially at the joint with the watch head where the paper is thicker. Glad it works for you as they look great

That's it on my Sub ๐ฅ
They are quite stiff to begin with. Great quality though.
First, congrats on the watch, it looks great, and hey...Rolex. ๐
I can't imagine that it would be difficult cleaning a white rubber strap, which was my vote. Looks spectacular!

Thanks mate. I leaning towards the white, green or black ๐๐คฃ
I would avoid white. It does tend to get grimey
I'd go with either black or white. No green. I'm a firm believer that a strap color should match some or all the colors on the dial...
Rubber B is dope. I use it on my BB58. Get the white. If it gets dirty, you can be daring and clean it ๐
My BB58 with a Rubber B.

Because they are the best on the market. The fit is second to none!
They are expensive, but they are still cheaper than OEM rubber bands from certain brands.
The Explorer is not a cheap piece, so I'd rather put something decent on it, that's strong, fits perfectly, made from quality vulcanised rubber, which is less likely to deteriorate. They also look great. The Rubber B on the Sub below ๐ ๐
I've brought lots of different after market straps, but nothing touches Rubber B in terms of quality or fit in my opinion.
An added bonus with the one I'll buy for the Explorer, is that it may fit my green OP 41mm as well ๐
That's another reason I was asking the question on the colour. I'm leaning towards the black! ๐ค

Thank for your response. I do like the strap and watch to share detail, but I also like the contrast of a different colour strap/dial/bezel/indices etc.
That's the beauty of our hobby, as we all have different preferences.
If you already have the black, I would go with the white since it does match the watch.
Black!

The black one I have will only fit the 41mm Sub.
Black!
Nice!! Yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards the black. Just classic!
The black. The white in the winter will look out of place, and the green will really limit what you can where with it
Black looks great yes. But I say go for Green or White to really set off that dial!

I've ruled the white out I think! The green would be nice, especiallyif it fits my OP as well.
I'm waiting for Rubber B to get back to me on whether it will fit my OP, as well as the Explorer.
I need more money in my life, then I'd get least 2 ๐๐คฃ........

I try to remain grateful and think of those less fortunate when I'm battling with this obsessive hobby!
BUT I STILL WANT MORE!!!! ๐๐คฃ
