There's Something About Cartier
I don't think any other brand can do what Cartier does so beautifully in terms of a cross-over between watch as jewelry - There's just something about Cartier watches that the minute one wears it it feels a little more than just a great watch - more than a piece of jewelry - more than anything else - Not saying it's beats the holy trinity in watchmaking but at the same time i think Cartier stands where no one from Holy Trinity of watches can ever be because you need a totally different approach and design language for it

So agree!! It might not be or be seen as one of the top players in the industry, if you consider the technical aspects, but it has a charm like no one. Doesn’t matter if you consider them jewels or watches, those have a jenesaisquoi that is hard to find elsewhere.

I’ve never have tried a Cartier on. I’ve seen them. But they have it all… The heritage, the class, the design, the elegance, the horology capabilities….
The Tank is the ultimate dress watch, yet it is so versatile that it goes incredibly well (on photos, that is) with jeans and a plain t-shirt. Being elegant & simple is not an easy feat. Cartier is a great watch brand… One day I’d like to purchase one for my wife.

i am not sure I agree on current Cartier, always. But vintage? Absolutely.
True - thats why both of my Cartiers are at least 30 - 35 years old models
