Defending my citizen promaster aka " the big ugly ".
Whilst out and about on Saturday, I was downing a few cool beverages with friends at a local pub. Waiting at the bar to be served a man walked up next to me and noticed my watch.
" Oh my God that watch is ugly, what the hell is it ?"
" Citizen promaster"
Ignoring him, he continued to go on about my watch.
I looked at his wrist and saw he was a wearing a Seiko 5. Looked good.
" Nice watch you have there ".
He nodded but was still going about my watch.
" Look mate yes my watch might not be the best looking watch out there, but it's not as ugly as your head ".
He turned and faced me, looking cocky like he wanted to drop me where I stood.
I faced him, took off my watch and gave it the bartender.
He started to back down and was walking away.
" Call me fat, call me ugly, but don't you dare have a go at my watch ".
He looked at me like I was serial killer and promptly left the premises.
I put my watch back on my wrist, grabbed my beer. All was good with the world..👍👍
