First luxury watch - GS SBGA375

So glad I went for that one! Excellent finitions, great movement, perfect size! Just worried about scratching but that’s part of the game and will make it’s charm on the long run 😁

Lois great!! Congrats!

Congrats! It is amazing.

Congrats!

Do it like the Rolex-Bois: Put it in a Safebox at a bank, never to be seen again. Sell it 20 years later for some profit (new-old stock)

That‘s how a real watch is supposed to be handled.

In all honesty: Wear it. Done. My SBGA211 and SBGN003 are scratched. So what. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It says 660k yen. But I bought it 495k excl. shipping and import duty costs. Total cost incl. all that was 3240 CHF / 3680 USD

WOW! Awesome watch!!

·

Hell of a first watch! Congrats!

Hey Matthieu,

Congrats on getting your new Grand Seiko, I’m hoping to pick up my own (but quartz) in the next couple of months. Perfect fit on your wrist and I think you’re spot on about scratches. The first one stings but after a bit of time, it becomes part of the watch’s character.

big congrats! enjoy!

The Quartz are incredible too! Which model are you targeting? This could be the next one on my list…

Hey Matthieu, I’m looking at the SBGX261 as it wears like a dream on my 6.3” wrist.

Congrats on a beautiful watch! I've considered this one multiple times. Also, please don't worry about scratches. With something that is highly polished like this watch, you are guaranteed to accumulate micro scratches throughout. I love high polished watches myself, so I know how it goes. Just wear the watch and enjoy it 😎

I hear a lot of criticism around these bracelets, in terms of finishing for example. My standards are pretty low so I’m more than happy with it. Width is perfect, I like the clasp too. Some people very much like swapping for a strap and indeed it makes a big difference as the case is more highlithed

·

Congrats! Wear it all you want because it's such a fantastic everyday, set and forget movement with under the radar design. Perfect combo for a daily driver.

Scratches are the physical manifestation of your love for the watch, wear them proud.

Indeed, I’m already thinking of the next one!

·

Outstanding choice!

44GS case is indeed a scratch and nick magnet, just be mindful when you wear that you don't knock your wrist into anything
