Rolex Skydweller with jubilee bracelet or oysterflex strap?

I’ve recently become interested in skydwellers and their design and whilst on the Rolex configurator, I was wondering what looked best out of the jubilee bracelet, or the smooth oysterflex strap. Opinions?

I'm a big fan of rubber straps but on this occasion I do think that the Jubilee bracelet is a better look. It's something about the bezel that were it smooth I'd go for the rubber strap but as it is, it's got to be the bracelet.

Only you can really decide which you think looks best.

I think it looks great with both.

Unless you are a big fan of rubber, I find it harder to find a matching bracelet (in terms of material), be it 904L steel or yellow/white gold that matches with the case. As such I'd almost always go with the non-rubber choice.

But just to repeat that I think it looks great with rubber also.

If you’re going for the bling of a Skydweller, a bit more bling caused by the jubilee bracelet won’t hurt.

I wear the SD. Before I got, I was very much in the jubilee camp. Ended up going g with oyster though, as I think it kind of mellows the watch out. I don’t think you can go wrong though.

Edit, sorry didn’t notice you were considering the oyster strap and not the oyster bracelet.

They both look great. For me though the jubilee would be my preference as I think it suits the look and style of f the watch more.

Oysterflex is only available on the solid white gold skydweller, they are really nice and hefty

·

Really depends , I’ve heard from a couple of people that in the solid gold configurations a lot of people go for the oyster flex because of the weight, and I would do the same. In the steel configuration I would go for jubilee probably

·

I’d honestly be ok with either. The fact that the oyster flex has a link that properly fits up to the case makes it “flow” visually just as much as the bracelet. It’s just a coin flip for me.

I think a rubber strap but I just can’t like the skydweller it looks like a poor datejust knockoff with a silly bit in the middle of the dial so at least on a rubber strap it would move a little way from a dayejust look alike

·

A rubber strap for such a dressy watch just doesn't go in my opinion, this watch with the fluted bezel coupled with jubilee bracelet is just pure eye catching and in my opinion a far superior option. Obviously if you prefer the oyster flex then go with that as you don't want to splash a large sum of money on a watch and strap that other people prefer and you don't.

Always buy on bracelet. Straps are relatively inexpensive. The OEM bracelet is a whole other story.

·

With Rolex it is all about the bracelet.

strap - the jubilee bracelet plus polished bezel is a lot
